- Building a suite of contract tests to validate the consistency of our data
- Verifying new features that allow our other teams to bring the most value to their clients
- Working in a cloud-first environment
- Providing feedback on new features in development
- experience with testing APIs. Integration or contract testing experience is strongly preferred
- experience with using different programming languages, primarily Golang, but a bit of python and javascript/typescript is also acceptable
- knows how to write automated test to validate REST/GraphQL/gRPC APIs
- experience with functional E2E testing
- protobuf for defining an API service
- contract driven testing
- ETL and/or data pipelines
- review and validate user stories and requirements
- work with engineers to raise confidence in the correctness of the data we produce

We are looking to fill a brand new tester position in our team. We have a modern tech stack, the work is intriguing and the team is, frankly, awesome. Oh, did we mention great coffee?
Now, let's be a little serious. We are looking for a tester with decent coding background to help us build a contract testing solution for one of our data teams. That means a lot of responsibility, but also a lot of freedom to do things your way. We want to hear your input on how best to test the intertwined backend system and then build it together.
